TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR BOOKINGS

1. Events are confirmed on receipt of a completed booking form and full payment, payable by cheque or BACS.

2. Booking confirmations and a receipt will be sent by post to the contact name and address given on the booking form.

3. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue and are not transferable to another person.

4. Amendments to bookings may be made up to 28 days before the course. If you find you are unable to attend a class within 28 days before the course you are welcome to send someone else in your place.

5. We regret that no refunds will be given.

6. In the unfortunate and unlikely event that a booking has to be cancelled by us, we will always give you as much notice as we reasonably can and you will be offered the choice of an alternative date or a full refund. We will not be liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur. If you need to pay for travel and / or overnight accommodation, we recommend that you seek appropriate insurance.

7. If a tutor is unable to teach a class, we will contact you as soon as possible to advise you of a replacement tutor. You will be offered the choice of attending an alternative date or a full refund. We will not be liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur. If you need to pay for travel and / or overnight accommodation, we recommend that you seek appropriate insurance.

8. Please note that we require a minimum number of 6 people to run a course.  We reserve the right to cancel any course that has not achieved minimum numbers.  You will be offered the choice of attending an alternative date or a full refund. We will not be liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur. If you need to pay for travel and / or overnight accommodation, we recommend that you seek appropriate insurance.

9. Where you are unable to attend a class due to adverse weather conditions, illness or other personal circumstances our booking and cancellation policy will still apply. However at our sole discretion we will offer alternative dates for a replacement class at short notice. We cannot guarantee that alternative dates offered will be for the same class or even for the same day of the week.

10. Your details will be used to keep you informed of course programmes as they are published and other events at The Chefs Room.

11. Please ensure that you give us a telephone number so we can contact you in the event that there is a problem with your booking.

12. We are only able to serve alcohol to customers over 18 years of age. We reserve the right to refuse to serve individuals when we consider it appropriate.

13. For hands-on events, all participants must wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

14. Please give us details of any food restrictions / allergies affecting any member of your party.
